Launched in 2008, The British Drift Championship (BDC), has become the UK’s Professional Drift Series. Hosting seven events across England and Scotland, attended by thousands, providing an adrenaline-charged, loud, fast-paced, and in your face, form of motorsport entertainment.
Under new ownership, The BDC were looking for a new payments partner to provide them with a suite of secure and PCI DSS compliant payment solutions across a host of channels including face to face, e-commerce, telephony and social media.

On this occasion the BDC, were supported by Gala Technology is setting up the merchant services needs and then provided with the latest card terminals in the guise of the PAX A920 for face to face, ticket and merchandise sales, a tier one, PCI DSS compliant payment gateway for their e-commerce activities and access to the multi-award-winning Pay By Link solution, SOTpay.
The British Drift Championship (BDC) will now run between 28th May 2021 and October 16th, where the ‘Battle Royale’ returns to Buxton, for 2 days of drifting under the floodlights, before the big party to celebrate the series afterwards.
