Operational Update: Preparedness for COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Gala Technology is committed to the health and safety of our employees and customers. As such, we are monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and have implemented a remote work policy for all employees.  We have also suspended all travel and in person meetings, moving to virtual options, to limit exposure potential for our employees, customers and communities.


As a technology organisation, our infrastructure can capably and efficiently handle fully virtual operations for as long as this event dictates, and there is currently no anticipated impact on our business operations or service. All employees responsible for managing the service have access to technical resources necessary to take action from home or the office and our standard operational model includes many measures to ensure the safety of confidential data, work product, and information such as secure single sign-on with two-factor authentication.


Likewise, we are working with our technology partners who support our infrastructure and security. Currently, no adverse issues have been identified.


Due to its rapidly changing nature, we will continue to follow global and national health authority guidance and will hold regular senior management reviews to determine what additional precautions may be needed.


Finally, we are conscious that while our work together can continue largely uninterrupted, our clients, partners, friends, families and communities may be deeply impacted by the larger consequences of COVID-19 and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best in these unprecedented, difficult times.
